JOPLIN, MO – CFI, a truckload carrier that’s a division of TFI International, has named Angela Ridge as vice president – human resources. She will report to Tim Staroba, CFI’s president.

Bert Johnson, who had held the role, is retiring and will transfer the workload in the next few months.

Ridge was most recently corporate education strategist for Oregon State University, where she was responsible for corporate training programs and developing staff. That included implementing a Learning Management System. She was previously director – operations support for XPO Logistics/Con-way Multimodal, and been senior organizational development manager with Con-way.

“Angela understands how to acquire and retain the very best talent available, leveraging her background in organizational design, management, and implementation to attract the people who make CFI the successful business that it is today, and what it strives to be in the future,” Staroba said.
