KERROBERT, Sask. — With the highway construction season winding down, the province of Saskatchewan is continuing to start new projects

Most recently, the province tackled Hwy.s 21 and 51 near Kerrobert in a $1.9-million highway upgrade project. Work on the project began last week and will continue until mid-September.

The Ministry of Highways and Transportation says an increase in truck traffic on those routes has contributed to some deterioration, and a total of 10.2 kilometres of the highways will be repaired.
