SHERBROOKE VILLAGE, N.S. — The state of a scenic route in Nova Scotia is so bad, an American Travel Company has sworn to shun the route if its not fixed soon.
New Orleans-based Creative World Travel’s Allan Wittmeyer says the drive along the province’s Eastern Shore is bone rattling in some spots.
Vehicle owners have complained about the long route on Hwy. 7, which takes drivers from Halifax to Sherbrooke Village.
Managing director, Judith Cabrita, says the agency raised the issue in a letter to the Hamm government earlier this month.
Cabrita says Nova Scotia’s ravaged roads are an ongoing problem for road users, and insists more government funds are needed urgently.
