Sask. receives $37 million for roads
REGINA, Sask. — The province of Saskatchewan got a $37 million boost for highway improvement projects yesterday.
Minister of Highways and Transportation, Mark Wartman and Government House Leader, Ralph Goodale, took delivery of the cheque from federal Transport Minister, Davide Collenette.
The joint funding project is part of the $600 million Strategic Highway Infrastructure Program (SHIP) announced by Collenette in April.
