REGINA, Sask. — With the melting warmth of spring just around the next corner in the road, Saskatchewan, like many provinces, will soon face spring road bans.

In an effort to provide truckers with the most up-to-date information possible, Saskatchewan’s Transportation Compliance Branch will post all restrictions on the World Wide Web.

“Updates may start as soon as next month,” according to one department spokesman. He adds that it may be a good idea to bookmark the site, http://www.highways.gov.sk.ca/weight_restrictions/, now for quick and current reference information.
