LANGLEY, B.C. — The B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) is making the transition to post secondary school a little easier for two students, thanks to their annual scholarship program.

Aaron Robert Rizzardo and Sherilyn Mosa have each been awarded $1,000 scholarships to help out with this year’s expenses at school.

Rizzardo was the recipient of the BCTA Motor Carrier Scholarship and will be putting it towards his University of B.C. education in science.

Mosa received the James W. Tepoorten Scholarship and that will go toward her University College of the Fraser Valley education in the Liberal Arts Diploma/Bachelor of Arts program.

Scholarship winners had their applications judged based on achievements, community involvement and career goals.
