SHEDDING A LITTLE MORE LIGHT ON DRUNK DRIVERS
TRENTON, Ont. — Police in Ontario are ordering a new flashlight specially engineered to aid in the war against drunk driving.
The new light alerts police when it detects the presence of alcohol. A display on the side of the unit illuminates when it picks up booze vapors around a person’s body.
Commonly referred to as “the Sniffer”, the gadget is currently being tested by law enforcement officers in nine U.S. States.
