MONCTON, N.B. — Officials at a Zellers outlet were left puzzled after someone stole an entire trailer load of goods parked outside a Moncton mall.

Police report the trailer contained tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise described only as “seasonal products”. There is no explanation of how the thieves made off with the trailer.

The trailer and contents went missing between 6 p.m. last Saturday, and 7 a.m. Tuesday.

There was an Ontario licence plate on the trailer at the time of its disappearance with the number V43-493. The trailer was registered to Extra Lease Ontario.
