SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS LIFTED

HALIFAX, N.S. — The last of Nova Scotia’s spring weight restrictions have been lifted today, according the province’s Transportation and Public Works Ministry.

Although most spring weight restrictions came to an end in April, roads in the counties of Cumberland, Colchester, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond, Inverness, Victoria and Cape Breton were still affected by the restrictions.
