Sterling Trucks adds Maritime dealership

ST. JOHN, N.B. (Aug. 22, 2003) — Sterling Trucks announced that Central Western Star Trucks Ltd. in St. John, N.B. is one of eight new dealerships the company has added to its network.

The additions follow the announcement made in March that Sterling had increased the overall size of its dealer network by more than 30 per cent in 18 months.

“Our goal is to establish Sterling as the leading vocational truck brand in North America,” John Merrifield, senior vice-president of sales and marketing, said in a press release. “We’ve grown our market presence this year and hope to continue this expansion.”

Sterling is a member of the Freightliner LLC Group, a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler.
