TCA offers solutions to insurance crisis

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — According to the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA), solutions to the insurance crisis are just a phone call away.

The TCA is offering an audio conference titled “Surviving Today’s Insurance Crisis,” on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

With fewer insurance companies offering coverage and the cost of premiums and deductibles getting higher, it is becoming increasingly difficult for motor carriers to obtain insurance coverage — no matter what side of the border they’re on. The conference will offer answers to these issues.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear what insurance companies are experiencing and how availability and cost of coverage have been impacted. As well, they can learn what they need to do to sell their company in the insurance market and increase their knowledge of short- and long-term solutions to the current crisis.

The cost of registration is $129 per site for TCA members or $159 for non-members. To register go to www.truckloadacademy.org and click on “Events”.
