TCA president steps down

ALEXANDRIA, Va., (Oct. 22, 2003) — Truckload Carriers Association has accepted the resignation of President Robert Hirsch.

Chairman Clifton Parker and Hirsch mutually agreed to separate their relationship due to a difference of opinion on managerial approach. The officers and the board of directors said they appreciated Hirsch’s participation during his tenure.

TCA is a national trade association whose collective sole focus is the truckload segment of the motor carrier industry. The association represents dry van, refrigerated, flatbed, and intermodal container carriers operating in the U.S., as well as Canada and Mexico.
