WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) has released a new instructor’s manual for the clear language version of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.

Complete lesson plans, overhead masters, sample examination questions and four full-color transparencies are included with the book.

The new manual has been designed to match the TDG Clear Language Handbook, produced by MTA and the Ontario Trucking Association. The instructor’s manual is fully cross-referenced both to the handbook and the regulations.

The manual will be an invaluable tool for many including in-house instructor’s, safety directors who need to communicate the new rules to employees according to the MTA.

It is suitable for the training of employees who handle, TDG for hire or those already hired, including consignors and consignees as well as drivers.

To order copies, contact your provincial trucking association.
