THSAO presents a trio of events

GRIMSBY, Ont. — The Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario Council of Driver Trainers, Hamilton Niagara are meeting tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in Grimsby.

Guest speaker Bob Morreale, manager with the WSIB Small Business Group will give an informative talk on small business. He will explain how many large fleets become involved with his group when they hire O/Os or brokers.

Also, on May 30, at 8:00 a.m., the THSAO Council of Driver Trainers will sponsor a workshop presented by the Compliance Centre.

The centre provides products and services to help industry with regulations for shipping or using hazardous materials.

The workshop will provide details on changes to the TDG Clear Language Act and Regulations and how they will effect businesses effective Aug. 15.

Areas of discussion will include major regulatory changes with current TDGR transition period; structure of clear language regulations; major definitions and documentation.

Both the meeting and workshop will take place at the Christian Labour Association of Canada at 89 South Service Rd., in Grimsby.

The cost for the workshop is $10 per person for non-members and registration must be received by May 17. For more information call 905-639-7581.
