Transport for Christ parks in Woodstock

WOODSTOCK, Ont. — Transport for Christ has set up a mobile chapel at the Woodstock truck stop, offering drivers of any denomination a place to worship.

It is the fourth such mobile chapel in Canada, and offers an array of services to truckers, including one-on-one counseling.

Although organizers are hoping to eventually host two full church services each Sunday, they are just now getting organized and have yet to form a schedule.

But truckers are encouraged to drop in to the chapel, which has been operating out of the truck stop’s parking lot for just over two weeks.

For more information about services, call Len Reimer at 519-421-8861.
