TORONTO, Ont. — Bison Transport, Consolidated Fastfrate and Challenger Motor Freight were recognized yesterday as some of the 50 best managed Canadian companies.

The annual Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies program aims to award companies that best beat economic odds.

In order to qualify, companies must boast revenues between $10 million and $2 billion, have demonstrated strong growth over the past three years and must be at least 50 per cent owned by Canadians.

The companies will be invited to a gala dinner in Toronto on Jan. 28 where they will be formally recognized.

The three companies join Overseas Express Consolidators as a recipient of the prestigious designation.
