Truck-Lite gets a Silver Spark

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Oct. 10, 2003) — Bradley Van Riper, Truck-Lite vice-president of research and development, was recently presented with the Technology and Maintenance Council’s highest award, the Silver Spark Plug.

Van Ripe became the first Truck-Lite recipient to receive the award, which is a lifetime achievement honour given in recognition of an “individual’s outstanding contribution to the cause of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.” Van Ripe was recognized for his recommended practices dealing with wiring, electrical and electronic devices, and with the driver environment.

Van Ripe has been with Truck-Lite for 25 years.
