Truck safety symposium slated for end of October

WINNIPEG, (Oct. 7, 2003) — The Manitoba Trucking Association is inviting government, law enforcement, and trucking industry stakeholders to a symposium dedicated to improving truck safety on October 29, 2003.

The symposium, to take place at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg, will address jurisdictional approaches to carrier profiles; national & international issues relating to vehicle weights & dimensions; and infrastructure management and truck safety.

The cost for the seminar is $175.00 per registrant, and $50.00 for students.
