Truck World 2000 opens

TORONTO (Sept. 14, 2000) — Nearly 20,000 visitors are expected to file through Truck World 2000, the inaugural trade show organized by the Ontario Trucking Association which opens today in Toronto and runs through the weekend.

The show, held at the National Trade Centre (Exhibition Place home of the CNE grounds), is expected to feature 500 exhibitors and a variety of special events, including a job fair, a show-‘n’-shine competition, and a series of business-oriented seminars for owner-operators and truck fleets.

The doors are open today from 10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Tickets are $20. Parking is free.
