Trucker cleared of blame

FREDERICTON, N.B. — A Quebec trucker who was charged in the death of a Corner Brook, Nfld. resident will not have to go to trial.

That was the decision rendered by a judge who claimed there was insufficient evidence against trucker Guylain Boudreau to justify sending him to trial.

Boudreau was charged with dangerous driving immediately following the December accident on the Princess Margaret Bridge in Fredericton.
