SARNIA, Ont. — A 25-year-old truck driver Gurmeet Kainth is recovering after someone tossed a full barrel of chemicals from an overpass near Sarnia, Ont. last week.

The barrel, containing a concentrated degreasing agent, crashed through the windshield of Kainth’s tractor as he headed down southwestern Ontario’s Hwy. 402.

He was injured by flying glass and was struck by part of the barrel, which smashed on impact.

Kainth was treated and released from hospital.
