ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — Planning is already underway for Truxpo 2002, which will be held Oct. 3 5 at the Tradex Centre in Abbotsford.

The annual truck show the largest of its kind in Western Canada rotates between Alberta and B.C. each year.

The B.C. Trucking Association (BCTA) is urging exhibitors to register early to take part in a booth space lottery to be held Dec. 10.

A total of 180,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor exhibit space is up for grabs at what has been dubbed one of the 25 largest trade shows in the country by Tradeshow Week.

This year’s Truxpo brought in 11.712 visitors and surveys indicate that 70 per cent of them were in a position to approve or recommend purchases for their companies. Seventy-five per cent of attendees said they had made, or were considering making a purchase as a result of their visit to Truxpo.
