SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — The Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council (CTHRC) recently awarded full accreditation to two Ontario truck driver training facilities planning to deliver the Earning Your Wheels program to future students.

Sault Ste. Marie’s Sault College of Applied Arts and Technology and Oshawa-based Transportation Resource Management (TRM) are the newest CTHRC-certified schools.

“Sault College is very pleased to be able to bring the best driver training to the Sault Ste. Marie community,” says Kathy McCarty, the college’s manager of continuing education and contract training.

Rick Gowland, director of operations at TRM, says his group has already had a great deal of success training individuals for several carrier clients. He says the choice to deliver the Earning Your Wheels program, “further enhances TRM’s training to a level of professionalism that not only meets but exceeds the requirements.”
