U.S. trucking firm appoints Toronto exec

TORONTO, (Aug. 5, 2003) — Craig MacDonald of Oakville, Ont. has been named account executive for Elizabeth, N.J.-based New England Motor Freight’s Toronto terminal.

MacDonald, who has previously held sales positions with Midland Transport, Central McKinlay, Consolidated Freightways, and Ryder PIE, will be responsible for maintaining existing business and expanding sales in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, and Hamilton.

Family-owned NEMF is one of the largest LTL carriers in the Northeast U.S. region. It operates 30 terminals throughout the Northeast, Florida, Puerto Rico and Canada.
