Vancouver Transportation Club celebrates

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Vancouver Transportation Club is turning 50 and what better way to celebrate than with a gala event.

The 50th anniversary celebration will play host to a live pianist during the cocktail hour, dancing, a buffet and performances from celebrity impersonators such as Kenny Kaos as Rod Stewart and Earl E. Elton as Elton John.

The event will take place on Apr. 20 at the Terminal City Club — 837 West Hastings Street in Vancouver.

Tickets are $75 each and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Tables for eight or 10 are available.
