Vitran expands Mark’s Work Wearhouse deal

TORONTO (Nov. 13, 2000) — Vitran Corp., a Toronto-based trucking firm operating across North America, signed a five-year logistics contract with retailer Mark’s Work Wearhouse Ltd. worth $15.5 million.

The agreement expands an existing supply chain management relationship.

Vitran will manage and operate a new 80,000-square-foot dedicated distribution centre for Mark’s Work Wearhouse, which will be comprised of a pick-n-pack component and an import cross-docking operation.
