Volvo honours sales reps

GREENSBORO, N.C. (May 28, 2004) — Volvo Trucks North America saluted its top salespeople in Canada and the United States, naming Gold Master Sales Leaders in seven categories.

Several Canadians were honoured:

Brad Bowering of Performance Equipment in Mississauga, Ont., for total units sold and Volvo power sales; Evgueni Petrenko, Sheehan’s Truck Centre, Burlington, Ont., multiple customer sales; Bob Gingrich, Alberta Heavy Truck Centre, Calgary, vocational units; Jason Ker, Mid-Ontario Truck Centre, Barrie, Ont., pre-owned sales; Dennis Sheehan, Sheehan’s Truck Centre, pre-owned sales management; and David Linseman, Expressway Trucks Waterloo, Ayr, Ont., new truck sales management.

Volvo calls Master Sales Leaders is “an extremely popular sales incentive program open to all Volvo Trucks sales professionals for both new and pre-owned trucks.” Approximately 550 Volvo Trucks sales personnel are members of the program, which has been in existence for 20 years.

The awards were presented at a ceremony in April.
