The ever popular European series put on by Volvo Trucks, “Welcome to My Cab” has come to North America.

The show is all about professional drivers and life on the road. Magnus Koeck, the v.p. of Volvo Trucks’s marketing and brand management said the series allows the company to “celebrate the lives of drivers and provides a platform for them to share their stories and amplify their voice through social media.”

Jon and Miriam Brown, owners of a custom-chassis Volvo VNL daycab are featured in the first ever North American episode. Their truck features a washer/dryer, a big screen TV and an electric cooktop kitchen.

“We got into trucking on accident,” said Jon Brown. “We wanted to travel. We wanted to spend all of our time together, and trucking definitely fits the bill for both of those. We planned to do it for a year, and here we are 14 years later.”

“We both like driving, so that helps,” added Miriam Brown.

For a chance to be featured in a future episode or to watch the full first episode featuring the Browns, visit the Volvo Trucks Web site here.
