OAKVILLE, Ont. — The Private Motor Truck Council (PMTC) of Canada is conducting its annual Private Fleet Compensation Survey, which aims to measure driver compensation and other costs for private carriers.

Managers of private fleets are encouraged to take part in the survey, which serves as a benchmark for the industry. In addition to driver pay, the survey covers areas such as fleet maintenance costs and compensation for mechanics and management positions.

The PMTC has been conducting the survey since 1993. Reponses are tabulated by fleet type and distributed only to participants. The submission deadline is Mar. 20.
