FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. — A young man lost part of his leg when it was crushed by a truck at the Suncor Energy plant on the weekend.

Occupational Health and Safety officials are investigating the incident, and they claim the truck was left in neutral while workers unloaded skids from the trailer.

The 20-year-old is in stable condition in an Edmonton hospital, but one leg had to be removed from the knee down.
