FORT ERIE, Ont. — A renowned bridge designer has been invited to visit the Peace Bridge and offer insight into developing an alternative to the current international gateway.

Christian Menn has teamed with the Bi-national Integrated Environmental Process Partnering Group to undertake an environmental study of the structure.

The group is interested in exploring alternatives to the current Peace Bridge. Some of Menn’s projects are considered to be the most magnificent bridges in the world, including a 10-lane bridge across the Charles River in Boston.
