MTA Fall Gala full of memories
WINNIPEG, MB - The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) honored its best and brightest this weekend with its Fall Gala Awards Dinner. Surrounded by food, fun, and good company, the MTA recognized not one, but two members who have spent their lives in service to the trucking industry by changing the name of the Service to Industry award to the Red Coleman Service to Industry Award. Going forward the award will be sponsored by the Coleman family and bare the name of the senior Coleman who has been in trucking nearly 70 years.

MTA, Manitoba to work on interim safety rating policy
WINNIPEG, MB -- Manitoba Infrastructure will be working with the Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) over the next two weeks to establish an interim policy for the province's Carrier Profile System (CPS) and safety ratings -- and address an existing model that has reportedly caused Manitoba fleets to lose business opportunities.
Manitoba’s Best Drivers Move To Nationals, Driver of the Year Awarded
WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) has announced who will be representing the province in the national Professional Trucking Driving Championship (PTDC) in Abbotsford, BC on September 21. The MTA also recognized Mark Tricco of Bison Transport as their 2013 Manitoba Driver of the Year at the driving banquet on June 15.
