Eaton enhances ServiceRanger 4
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Eaton announced during Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week that it has enhanced its ServiceRanger 4 diagnostic and service software to better support its automated transmissions. Eaton is also simplifying the product offering to include just Basic (read-only) and Professional (full-service) offerings. It has also created a new multi-year licensing option.
Volvo brings new LED headlights to VHD
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Volvo Trucks has announced new LED headlights for its VHD series of vocational trucks. The announcement was made at World of Concrete. The new LED headlights are now standard on the VDH 300 day cab and CHD 400 regional sleeper models. Volvo says the improved design helps reduce eye strain, increases visibility, and improves safety on roads and jobsites.
Dana enhances e-commerce platform, introduces seal installation tool kit
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Dana announced enhancements to its e-commerce platform, and a new seal installation took kit during Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week. Dana launched its DanaAftermarket.com e-catalog and e-commerce platform at HDAW last year, and says it has since added many upgrades and enhancements.
Hendrickson showcases air disc brake wear indicator
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Hendrickson Trailer Commercial Vehicle Systems has introduced a new air disc brake wear indicator. The patent-pending tool, introduced during Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week, allows maintenance personnel to check brake pad and rotor thickness without removing the wheel or the brake pads from the caliper.
Bendix expands brake shoe offerings
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Bendix has expanded its aftermarket brake shoe line, and now offers a remanufactured brake shoe with original equipment friction and coating and the same five-year warranty as on OE shoes. The announcements were made during Heavy-Duty Aftermarket Week.
Launches planned for Work Truck Show
Four manufacturers have announced they will unveil new vehicles at this year’s Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. Chevrolet Commercial Vehicles will round out its commercial truck portfolio with Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD chassis cabs, Ford Commercial Vehicles will have a launch of its own, and International will debut what it’s touting as “the driver’s ultimate work truck.” Hino, meanwhile, will introduce a line of Class 7 and 8 trucks, to be powered by
