Trailers show Total support for Wounded Warriors Canada
WHITBY, Ont. – A pair of trailers hauled by Total Transportation will soon be showing support for Wounded Warriors Canada, and sharing the all-important message of #InThisTogether. Representatives of the charity -- which supports ill and injured members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, and first responders -- gathered on Friday with members of those very groups to watch the first of the trailers roll through the bay doors at Sign Design.

Pilot Flying J ‘harvesting’ extra food for those in need
KNOXVILLE, TN - At the beginning of a season of giving, Pilot Flying J and Food Donation Connection (FDC) have announced a partnership to supply extra food items to local non-profits and food bank agencies to help families facing hunger next year. The largest operator of travel centers in North America said they will be participating in the Harvest Program, a nation-wide initiative in the United States to combat hunger in areas Pilot Flying J is located by 'harvesting' surplus food - such as hot PJ Fresh pizza slices, burgers and premium breakfast sandwiches - and safely prepare and freeze it for donation to local food banks and shelters.
Trucks for Change will do you good
TORONTO, ON -- My short-lived career as a competitive picker and packer could be in jeopardy. Newcom Business Media, the publisher of Today's Trucking, was the defending champion in the second-annual Trucks for Change food sorting challenge at Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank on November 16. Eight 10-member teams committed an hour to tear into pallets of donated food, check expiry dates, and load boxes for shipping. (What charitable work could be closer to the trucking industry than that?) And while new to the team, I've helped out at food banks before. In the lexicon of athletes everywhere, I was a ringer. The trash talk flowed with ease because, well, charity and all that.

EG Gray Transportation Moves on Hunger
PETERBOROUGH, ON -- For Rob and Julie Tanguay, owners of EG Gray Transportation, it was a no- brainer.
