Clean is a matter of routine
Summer is here and there’s no more hiding it – that dirt you’ve accumulated over the winter months has got to go. Whether it’s inside the cab or out, it may seem like a lack of time or know-how may be keeping you from clean surroundings when you’re on the road, but Andrew Sanders, owner of Dr. Detail in Toronto, Ont. says for most folks the real issue is a lack of routine.
Trucking industry delivers for Humboldt survivor
CALGARY, Alta. – Connecticut and Saskatchewan are more than 30 hours apart by truck, but news of the collision that killed 16 members of the Humboldt Broncos hit close to home for Chris Pisani. The Pisanis are a hockey family as well. They have climbed aboard countless buses just like the one that collided with the tractor-trailer on a prairie highway. After watching an interview with Ryan Straschnitzki, one of the 13 crash survivors, he wanted to help. And he wondered – maybe the used motorized wheelchair that had come into his hands could be put to good use.

2018 Skills Ontario medal winners announced
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. -- Skills Ontario took over the Toronto Congress Centre last week, and the results are in. The annual showcase allows students in 68 trades to compete to be the best in the province in their field and included competitors in truck and coach programs from colleges across Ontario.

Truck and coach students strut their stuff in Skills Ontario competition
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Seven apprentices in truck and coach mechanics programs from across the province showed off their abilities Tuesday at the Skills Ontario competition at the Toronto Congress Center. The annual showcase featured 68 unique trades and technology contests for Ontario students from Grade 4 through apprenticeship.
